ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Salesforce Solutions Consultant, you will be a client-facing, hands-on member of our delivery team, working directly with customers to implement Salesforce technology. You will lead conversations across every phase of the project lifecycle, from discovery and requirements through design, build, testing, training, and deployment.

You will translate business requirements into practical solutions, configure declarative and AI-native Salesforce capabilities, guide stakeholders through change, and help ensure each engagement is delivered on scope, on budget, and to a high standard. You will work in an AI-augmented delivery environment, always applying disciplined human review and validation of the output.

This is also a consultative, client-facing role. You will partner closely with the sales team, joining sales and discovery calls as the technical voice in the room, shaping scope, building solution designs, and turning them into clear, detailed statements of work.


Responsibilities:
  • Serve as a trusted client advisor by leading discovery, managing stakeholder expectations, and communicating effectively from project kickoff through deployment.
  • Lead all phases of Salesforce implementations, including discovery, solution design, configuration, custom development, testing, training, deployment, and post-launch support.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable Salesforce solutions, define project scope and effort estimates, and contribute to statements of work (SOWs).
  • Build and optimize Salesforce solutions using declarative tools (Flows, Validation Rules, Approval Processes, formulas), Apex, Lightning Web Components, integrations (REST/SOAP), data migration, and Data Cloud.
  • Design, configure, and optimize Salesforce AI solutions, including Agentforce, Einstein, Prompt Builder, grounding with Data Cloud/Data 360, and appropriate testing and human oversight.
  • Leverage leading AI tools and large language models (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, and AI-assisted development tools) to improve delivery quality and productivity while applying rigorous review and testing.
  • Partner with Sales as a technical consultant during discovery, solutioning, and estimation, helping qualify opportunities and develop solution designs and SOWs.
  • Troubleshoot complex issues, perform peer reviews, provide client and team guidance, and stay current with Salesforce platform and AI innovations to drive continuous improvement.


Key Requirements:
  • 4–6 years of hands-on Salesforce implementation experience.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong Salesforce platform expertise, including declarative development (Flows, Validation Rules, Approval Processes, formulas), Apex, Lightning Web Components (Aura an asset), and Lightning Design System.
  • Experience delivering Salesforce integrations (REST/SOAP), data migration, Data Loader, and Salesforce security, sharing, and visibility models.
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce AI capabilities (Agentforce, Einstein, Prompt Builder, Data Cloud/Data 360) and experience using leading LLMs (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini) and AI-assisted development tools, with sound judgment in reviewing, validating, and testing AI-generated output.
  • Strong consulting, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to support sales engagements, build executive relationships, scope solutions, and develop statements of work.
  • Salesforce Certified Administrator required.

Desirable Skills:
  • Salesforce Agentforce Specialist certification (or actively working toward it); AI Associate, Data Cloud Consultant, Platform App Builder, Platform Developer I, or higher-level certifications are considered strong assets.
  • Practical experience with AI solution design, including prompt engineering, grounding, retrieval, guardrails, and effective use of LLMs (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini) in project delivery.
  • Presales and solution consulting experience, including discovery workshops, solution scoping, and authoring statements of work (SOWs).
  • Experience leading user training, change management, and adoption initiatives.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and priorities.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce DevOps and Agile delivery practices, including Git, DevOps Center, Gearset or Copado, CI/CD, Scrum, and Jira.

Preferred Experience:
  • Salesforce delivery within a consulting environment.
  • Managing client escalations or red accounts and negotiating resolutions.
  • Delivering large, complex projects with many stakeholders, including enterprise or nonprofit organizations.
  • Exposure to additional platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics, Marketing Cloud, or Marketing Cloud Account Engagement.

Compensation

$90,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
